FROM THE FIRST IDEA TO COMMISSIONING
As a developer, you have a major responsibility to ensure that buildings meet the requirements of society, but also the requirements of the user of a building. The developer is responsible for ensuring that sufficient skills and resources are available to design and construct a building or construction project.
At FSD, we’re used to helping developers all the way from the initial concept to commissioning. In the early stages, we can help to review sketch proposals and discuss a solution that works throughout the process. In the further design process, we draw up e.g.:
- fire protection report
- inventories for buildings
- cooperation with the authorities
- roles as experts in project groups etc.
All of the above with a focus on creating a fire protection system that is tailored to the needs of the project and that will last over time.
Good fire protection is flexible and adapted to the conditions of the project in question. That’s why we work with performance based solutions (read more here), where it is possible to design specific solutions instead of using standard deemed to satisfy solutions. Our range of services includes calculations for ventilation fire protection, radiation calculations, structural analyses and evacuation analyses.
