As a natural part of fire protection design, FSD offers CAD and BIM services to suit your project. BIM, Building Information Modelling, is used to produce and manage digital information during the construction process. All information gathered is managed in a cloud-based platform for all project stakeholders. Building information modelling enables all disciplines in the project to see the model in three dimensions and it provides a broader overview during the different phases of the construction process. This allows all stakeholders to identify problems and to develop effective and sustainable solutions that contribute to savings in both time and costs for the project.

At FSD, we design fire protection on a model basis, where fire protection information becomes a natural part of the BIM process. Fire safety requirements in the fire protection model can be easily transferred to the architect’s model and this streamlines and ensures the quality of the design.
